Dissemination is an important component of this project. The first category of dissemination involves the use of word-of-mouth, the World Wide Web, and mass media including newspapers, magazines, newsletters, and radio, and is aimed at publicizing project activities. The second category of dissemination involves conference presentations and publications and is aimed at propagating the results of project activities to those with interest in middle school science and math education, particularly practitioners in the field. Specific examples of project dissemination activities are provided in this section.
